Shwetha C secured the highest SGPA of 8.42, followed by Sushmitha T with 8.35 SGPA and Sridhar R with 8.28 SGPA. Along with the top rank holders, several students have achieved outstanding scores above 8.00 and 7.00 SGPA, reflecting the strong academic culture and commitment to excellence at AIMS.     The two-day workshop was conducted under the initiative of IQAC, IIC, and IT Forum in association with Lite & Deep Tech Skills through IBM Skill Build & NASSCOM. The program focused on certification pathways including:

✔ Project Management Fundamentals
✔ Job Application Essentials
Students actively engaged in structured modules, hands-on learning activities, and assessments. The sessions covered key AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and AI Ethics. In addition, students gained insights into project management fundamentals and job application strategies including resume building and interview preparation.

The workshop fostered an interactive, skill-oriented learning environment that seamlessly blended technical expertise with professional development.

Outcomes
This program was a valuable and impactful initiative that effectively bridged academic learning with industry expectations. By integrating AI knowledge with professional skill development, the workshop empowered students with both technical expertise and employability skills, preparing them for future career opportunities.

Workshop on Resume Building & Interview Skills

HIGHLIGHTS
A Professional Development Program on Resume Building and Interview Skills was successfully organized on 19 February 2026 at Aditya Institute of Management Studies under the initiative of IQAC, IIC, HR Forum, and Placement Cell for UG and MBA students.
The workshop provided hands-on guidance on preparing professional, industry-ready resumes by focusing on proper structuring, effectively highlighting achievements, aligning resumes with job requirements, and avoiding common mistakes. Students were also trained in essential interview skills, including communication techniques, body language, confidence building, and handling frequently asked questions. The interactive nature of the session enabled participants to clearly understand current recruitment trends and employer expectations.

OUTCOMES
The program significantly enhanced students’ confidence and professional presentation skills, enabling them to approach interviews with clarity and preparedness. Participants developed a better understanding of corporate expectations and improved their overall career readiness, equipping them effectively for campus placements and competitive corporate interviews.

Empowering Futures with IBM Skills Build Training Program

HIGHLIGHTS
The workshop on IBM Skills Build Training Program was successfully organized under the initiative of IQAC, IIC and IT Forum in association with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions. The session aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant skills and practical exposure through structured learning modules.
Students actively participated in various modules and engaged in hands-on learning activities. They completed assignments and assessments as part of the training process, which enhanced their practical knowledge and digital competencies. The session created an engaging and skill-focused learning atmosphere for all participants.

OUTCOMES
The workshop enabled students to gain practical exposure to industry-recognized learning modules and strengthen their professional skill set. Upon successful completion of the modules and assignments, students received certificates (Getting Started with Artificial Intelligence) through the IBM Skills Build platform, adding value to their academic profile and improving their career readiness.

Fin Talk 2026: Student Seminar on the Impact of Tariffs on Indian Industries

Highlights of the Seminar
The seminar was conducted with active participation from students of UG and PG from the Department of Commerce and Management. The objective of the event was to create awareness among students about the concept of tariffs and how tariff policies influence on various Industries of the Indian economy. students presented informative sessions on the impact of tariffs on different industries of India such as: Agriculture, Automobile Sector, Textile Industry, FMCG Sector, Import and Export Businesses, Manufacturing and Industrial Growth. The presentations highlighted how tariffs affect pricing, competitiveness, domestic production, international trade, and economic development. Students also discussed recent tariff changes and their effects on Indian industries.
The seminar was interactive, and students enthusiastically engaged in discussions and question-answer sessions. The event helped participants gain deeper insights into economic policies and their practical implications on business and industry.

Outcomes
The seminar helped the students gain a better understanding of tariff policies and their effects on various sectors of the Indian economy. It enhanced their knowledge of international trade, industrial growth, and economic regulations. The event also improved students’ analytical thinking, presentation skills, and awareness on how tariffs influence pricing, competitiveness, and business decisions, making it a useful and informative academic experience.

Movie shows & Academic Review on “Animal Farm” By George Orwell.

HIGHLIGHTS
The screening of Animal Farm was organized for graduate students to deepen their understanding of political allegory, satire, and totalitarianism. The film effectively highlighted key themes such as power, corruption, propaganda, and ideological manipulation, particularly through Napoleon’s rise to authoritarian rule. Students engaged critically with the cinematic elements and discussed differences between the novel and the adaptation, along with its contemporary relevance.

Outcomes
Overall, the screening was academically enriching and encouraged critical thinking about political systems, leadership, and the dynamics of power. It provided graduate students with deeper insight into allegorical writing and its significance in modern socio-political contexts.

40-Hour Skill Development Course
(Academic Training Partner Systems Domain Pvt. Ltd.)

HIGHLIGHTS
A 40-hour Skill Development Course is being organized by Aditya Institute of Management Studies under the initiative of IQAC, IIC, and the Placement Cell, in association with Systems Domain Pvt. Ltd. for MBA students. The program commenced on 10th February 2026 with the objective of equipping students with integrated analytical and technical skills required in today’s data-driven business environment.
The Skill Development Course on Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python is designed with a consolidated and application-oriented learning approach, enabling MBA students to understand the complete process of data handling, analysis, visualization, and reporting in a business context.
Students are actively engaged in hands-on exercises and case-based learning that demonstrate how analytical tools collectively support planning, performance evaluation and strategic decisions across areas such as marketing, finance, operations, and human resource management. Interactive discussions and guided lab sessions ensure active participation and deeper understanding.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the 40-hour Skill Development Course, MBA students are expected to gain confidence in handling business data and applying analytical techniques to managerial problems. They are likely to develop the ability to interpret analytical outputs and present insights in a structured and professional manner. The course is expected to enhance students’ technical proficiency, analytical mindset, and employability skills.
