HIGHLIGHTS

A Pre-Placement and Soft Skill Training Program was conducted by Magic Bus India Foundation for all the UG final year students of B.COM, BBA and BBA AVIATION and for MBA Students. The session highlights why soft skills like communication and confidence are needed for students and how it will impact in building their career. It also highlighted why Pre-placement training is important in building the career.

Conclusion
The Pre-Placement and Soft Skill Training Program conducted by Magic Bus India Foundation was highly informative and beneficial for the students. The session helped students understand the importance of soft skills, communication, confidence, and professional readiness. The program provided valuable guidance that will help students perform better in interviews and prepare effectively for their future careers.

Dr. Bommadevara Ramesh conducted a session on “Career Building for Management Graduates.” The session primarily focused on the changing business environment and the importance of understanding VUCA – Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity.

He discussed three important career opportunities in management:

  1. Product Management: Understanding customer needs, developing products, and managing product performance.
  2. Corporate Strategy: Business planning, market analysis, growth, and strategic decision-making.
  3. Operations & Supply Chain Management: Production, logistics, procurement, inventory, and improving business efficiency.

The session highlighted the importance of communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, and continuous learning for building a successful management career.

*A special moment of the session was the presentation of the “Excellence in Institutional Leadership Award” by Dr. Bommadevara Ramesh to our Honourable Chairman Sir, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contribution to the institution.

The session was truly enlightening and thought-provoking, offering valuable knowledge and a better understanding of career opportunities and the VUCA business environment.*

National Sports Day – Day 3

Highlights:
Aditya Institute of Management and Studies celebrated National Sports Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. As part of the third-day programme, a “Run and Ride” event was organized by the NSS Forum and Sports Forum on 30th August 2026.
The event was conducted with the objective of promoting physical fitness, healthy living, discipline, and awareness about the importance of regular physical activity among students. The Run and Ride activity encouraged participants to step away from sedentary lifestyles and actively engage in sports and fitness activities.
Students participated enthusiastically in the event, demonstrating excellent energy, team spirit, discipline, and sportsmanship. The programme also provided an opportunity for students to develop a sense of unity and camaraderie while enjoying a healthy and active experience.
The event successfully conveyed the message that fitness is an essential part of a healthy and productive life. The active involvement of the NSS Forum and Sports Forum contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the programme.
Outcome:
The Run and Ride event concluded on a positive note, leaving the participants motivated to make physical activity a regular part of their daily lives.

EK GHANTA KHEL KE MAIDAN MEIN

Highlights

As part of the initiative “Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein,” an outdoor sports and physical activity programme was organized by the NSS Unit of Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research on 29th August 2026. The programme aimed to encourage students to actively participate in outdoor games and understand the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.

Students enthusiastically participated in various sports and recreational activities conducted on the playground. The activities provided an opportunity for students to step away from their regular academic routine and engage in physical exercise in a refreshing and energetic environment. The NSS volunteers actively coordinated the programme and encouraged maximum participation, fostering a spirit of cooperation and healthy competition among the students.

The programme successfully promoted awareness about the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and balancing academic commitments with physical activities. It also provided students with an engaging platform to strengthen teamwork, leadership, discipline and sportsmanship while contributing to their overall physical and mental well-being.

National Sports Day celebration was organized by Sports Forum, on 28th August 2026

Highlights
National Sports Day is celebrated annually on 29th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand. The Fit India Movement, under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, proposes to celebrate NSD 2026 through a three-day nationwide campaign under the theme “Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat”, built around the three pillars of “Tribute, Play and Move.”

Aditya Institute of Management Studies organized a special programme on 28 August to commemorate National Sports Day and pay tribute to the legendary Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand by playing glimpse his biography, whose dedication and achievements continue to inspire young sportspersons across the country.
Various sports and recreational activities were organized for the students. The participants took part with great enthusiasm and demonstrated excellent teamwork, discipline and competitive spirit. The activities provided students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and understand the importance of cooperation and fair play.

Outcome:
The students participated actively in the programme. Their enthusiastic involvement made the celebration lively and successful. The event also encouraged students to recognize sports as an essential component of overall personality development.

Startup Competition: Fostering Entrepreneurial Ideas and Innovation

HIGHLIGHTS
The Startup Competition was organised on 20 August 2026 at the AIMS Seminar Hall as an initiative of IQAC, Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Forum. The competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their innovative startup ideas and demonstrate their creativity, entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving abilities. Mr. Varun Bajaj Founder Tirumala Steel Industries * served as the judge and evaluated the ideas based on their innovation, relevance, feasibility and potential impact.

The participating students presented a diverse range of ideas focusing on technology, sustainability and social innovation. Keerthi and Kavya (BCA I) presented “ Greenify AI ”. Nithin (BBA V) presented “ Aero Spore” . Nikitha and Akhila (BCA III) presented “ Green Buddy AI ”, while Raghavendra and Kushal (BCA III) presented “ Smart Waste Analysis ”. Ameena and Tahrin (BCA I) presented “ Chaithanya – Renewable ”. Among the participating ideas, Nithin (BBA V) secured the First Prize for his innovative idea, Aero Spore.

Outcome

The competition successfully created a platform for students to transform their innovative ideas into potential entrepreneurial ventures. The presentations enhanced students’ confidence, communication skills and ability to articulate business ideas effectively. The professional evaluation and feedback from Mr. Varun Bajaj, provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of developing and presenting startup ideas. The achievement of Nithin, who secured the First Prize, further encouraged students to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship with greater confidence and enthusiasm.
