National Voter’s Day

Event: National Voter’s Day Celebration was organized by the IQAC and NSS Forum on 23rd January for UG students.

National Voter’s day, observed every year on 25th January to mark the foundation day the Election Commission of India. This day reminds us of one of our most powerful rights and responsibilities as citizens of democracy- “the right to vote”.

The program began with an introduction highlighting the significance of National Voter’s Day. An awareness talk was delivered by faculties on importance of voting, need of voting and also few real time experiences were shared so that it should not happen in future. Students were informed about voter registration, voting rights, and ethical voting practices. Followed by speech from student highlighting the importance of voting and democratic values. The program concluded with a pledge in both English and Kannada to uphold democratic principles and participate responsibly in elections.

Students gained awareness about the importance of voting in a democratic system. Participants developed an understanding of voter rights, duties, and responsibilities. The celebration promoted ethical, informed, and responsible voting behaviour among students.

In celebration of National Startup Day, Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research, through IQAC, IIC, and the Entrepreneurship Forum, organized a workshop titled “Building Startups in the Digital Era” on Wednesday, 21st January 2026.

The celebration was marked by enthusiastic participation from students, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere with ethnic attire on campus. The treasure hunt game & kite making was the major highlight of the event, where students worked in teams to solve clues, explore the campus, and complete tasks with excitement and coordination.

Traditional decorations, festive spirit, and student energy added charm to the celebration. The activity successfully blended fun with learning, encouraging collaboration, quick thinking, and healthy competition, making the Sankranthi celebration a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

The Students of MBA Participated in the programme, organized in observance of Rashtriya Yuva Din – 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The event was organized by the Hon’ble MLA Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan, MLA, Malleshwaram Constituency, and was held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Malleshwaram, on 12 January 2026.

The programme featured eminent speakers such as Mr. Prakash Belavadi, Theatre Artist and Journalist; Dr. Prashanth Prakash, Padma Shri awardee and renowned industrialist; and Mr. Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Former CEO of Television and Prasar Bharati.
