National Science Day

National Science Day 2020 was observed on 28.02.2020. An IQAC initiative. The theme of the day was ” Women in Science” as declared by the Government of India.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. M Vasundhara, Professor & HoD, Dept. of Horticulture, University of Agriculture Science, GKVK, Bengaluru. The event was graced by our honourable Chairman, Dr. B.A. Vishwanath.

A Science & Technology Exhibition was organised in lieu of paying tributes to Dr. C V Raman on the occasion, and congratulating all the women scientists, technologists, researchers for contributing to the development of the country through the field of Science and human life.

Departments of BSc / BCA / BBA / BBA Aviation & BCom had made models, posters and displays on various topics related to Science & Technology which was appreciated by the Guest & our Chairman.

International Human Rights Day – 2019

International Human Rights Day – 2019 was observed on Tuesday, 10th of December 2019. Prof. Sujatha Ajrekar, Legal Professional & an academician addressed the students and gave an awareness program highlighting the significance of the Day.

National Pollution Control Day- December 2nd 2019 was observed by students.

National Pollution Control Day- December 2nd 2019 was observed by students of MBA. They took a marathon walk down the Kogilu Road carrying Placards & interactions with the general public to disseminate public awareness on the ill effects of Pollution.

Students participated in the program “ONE NATION ONE CONSTITUTION’ conducted by Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka at JnanaJyothi Auditorium, Central College on 26.11.2019.
