Inter College Student Seminar – Paper Presentation on the theme ” SAVE EARTH & SMART EARTH” conducted on October 22nd 2019

AIMSR conducted a Inter College Student Seminar – Paper Presentation on the main theme: SAVE EARTH & SMART EARTH” under which various subthemes were given.
Received 62 abstracts from UG & PG students from various 21 colleges across Bangalore.

On 22.10. 2019, 38 students from 20 colleges presented their papers. Aimsr students also presented the Papers.
Under the SAVE EARTH theme ,Nitte Institute of Fashion Technology & under SMRT EARTH, M.S.Ramaiah won the BEST PAPER award.
The Resource persons who chaired the event were:
1. Dr. Vijay Kumar Khanna, Retd.Professor of University of Agricultural Science, Meghalaya
2. Mrs. Uma Kulkarni, Social Activist, Environmental Educationist & Teachers’ Trainer
3. Mr. Aravind Warrier, Management Consultant, HR Analyst & a Corporate Trainer.
The event was graced by our honourable Chairman, Dr. B.A. Vishwanath.

In association with CMCA, Bangalore, Campus Yuva Workshop on the theme “ Equity & Gender” was conducted on 16.10.2019 for UG students. Ms. Pallvi Rao of CMCA conducted the workshop.

Campus Yuva provides an avenue for young people to acquire an understanding of rights & obligations as citizens and life skills such as critical thinking, team work & Communication. It is aimed at equipping students with skills to enable them to be effective and responsible individuals & citizens of the society.

The event is hosted by Gender Sensitivity Cell.

Dussehra Celebrations 2019

Dussehra is the Nadahabba (state-festival) of the state of Karnataka. It is a 10-day festival, starting with Navaratri (Nava-ratri means nine-nights) and the last day being Vijayadashami.

As part of the festivity, traditional toys / dolls depicting our epics were displayed meaningfully by the students and faculty. The colorful rangoli and lights illuminated the display everyday.

Series of competitions are conducted in view of Navarathri. Students of UG & MBA participated in various events conducted:

Poster / Collage Presentations: on different themes in Business / IT & Science

Flower Decoration & Vegetable Carving

Treasure Hunt- Students had loads of fun and learning in this event

Desi Games: In order to re-call the games of yesteryear, various traditional / Desi games were played by the students with enthusiasm

UG ” Freshers’ Day” 2019

The seniors of UG Program hosted a ” Freshers Party ” for he new entrants of 2019. Dr. V.R. Devaraju, Professor Bio-Chemistry, Bengaluru Central University, & Governing Council Member of AIMSR graced the event.

The event was fulfilled and the students rocked unveiling their hidden talents.
