Sharing is Caring (Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds)
As part of Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds, Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Youth Red Cross (YRC), organized “Sharing is Caring” on 29th June 2026 at Sneha Jeevi Ashram, Kogilu, Yelahanka.
The event was organized with the objective of promoting compassion, empathy, and social responsibility by extending care and support to the elderly residents of the ashram. Faculty members, NSS and YRC coordinators, along with enthusiastic student volunteers, actively participated in the humanitarian initiative.
As part of the outreach program, the institute donated essential provisionary items including rice, pulses, cooking oil, sugar, biscuits, toiletries, and other daily-use necessities to support the residents of the ashram. The provisions were handed over to the ashram authorities, who expressed their sincere appreciation for the thoughtful gesture.
To bring joy and create lasting memories, the students organized a variety of engaging cultural and recreational activities for the elderly. These included singing, group interactions, games, storytelling, and light entertainment, encouraging active participation from the residents. The students also spent quality time interacting with the elderly, listening to their experiences, and sharing moments of warmth and companionship. The activities filled the atmosphere with happiness, smiles, and a sense of togetherness.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management of Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research. The “Sharing is Caring” initiative served as a fitting conclusion to Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds, reflecting the institute’s commitment to social responsibility, compassion, and community service.
