Walkathon on International drug addiction and Abuse.

Aditya Institute of Management Studies proudly participated in a Walkathon organized by the NSS, YRC, and the Sports Department on 1st July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
The walkathon covered a distance of 2 kilometers, beginning from the AGI Campus and concluding at AIMS College. Students enthusiastically participated in the awareness rally, carrying placards and making public announcements to educate people about the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction. Through their messages, they highlighted how drug addiction destroys lives, affects families, and poses a serious threat to society.
The participants appealed to the public to stay away from drugs and to lead a healthy, responsible, and drug-free life. The event concluded successfully with a strong message emphasizing that human life is precious and that everyone should say “No to Drugs” and encourage others to do the same.
The walkathon served as an effective platform to spread awareness and reinforce the importance of preventing drug abuse and promoting a healthier society.
