As per the circular issued by Bengaluru City University, Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research organized the live telecast of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Awareness Program on 30 June 2026 for the MBA students. The program was projected in the Seminar Hall to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society.
The live programme, organized by the Government of Karnataka, highlighted the growing concern of substance abuse among youth and emphasized the collective responsibility of educational institutions, families, and society in preventing drug addiction. The Hon’ble Chief Minister and other dignitaries addressed the gathering and encouraged students to stay away from narcotic substances and become ambassadors of awareness in their communities.
During the session, students gained valuable insights into the physical, psychological, social, and legal consequences of drug abuse. The program also stressed the importance of healthy lifestyles, positive peer influence, mental well-being, and timely intervention in combating substance abuse. Students actively watched the live telecast with great interest and understood the significance of making informed choices and promoting a drug-free environment.
The awareness programme served as an educational initiative that reinforced the institute’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible and health-conscious future managers. The session concluded with students taking a collective pledge to reject drug abuse and contribute towards building a safer and healthier society.

Sharing is Caring (Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds)
As part of Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds, Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Youth Red Cross (YRC), organized “Sharing is Caring” on 29th June 2026 at Sneha Jeevi Ashram, Kogilu, Yelahanka.
The event was organized with the objective of promoting compassion, empathy, and social responsibility by extending care and support to the elderly residents of the ashram. Faculty members, NSS and YRC coordinators, along with enthusiastic student volunteers, actively participated in the humanitarian initiative.
As part of the outreach program, the institute donated essential provisionary items including rice, pulses, cooking oil, sugar, biscuits, toiletries, and other daily-use necessities to support the residents of the ashram. The provisions were handed over to the ashram authorities, who expressed their sincere appreciation for the thoughtful gesture.
To bring joy and create lasting memories, the students organized a variety of engaging cultural and recreational activities for the elderly. These included singing, group interactions, games, storytelling, and light entertainment, encouraging active participation from the residents. The students also spent quality time interacting with the elderly, listening to their experiences, and sharing moments of warmth and companionship. The activities filled the atmosphere with happiness, smiles, and a sense of togetherness.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management of Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research. BDA Mega Tree Plantation Program Drive

Aditya Institute of Management Studies proudly participated in the BDA Mega Tree Plantation Program Drive held on 27th June 2026 at Ramagondanahalli Village, Yelahanka, organized by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda.
Postgraduate (PG) students actively participated in the plantation drive by planting saplings and promoting environmental conservation. The event created awareness about the importance of tree plantation and inspired students to contribute towards building a greener and more sustainable future.

Knowledge is Power – Educational Materials Distribution (Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds) DAY 2

As a continuation of the Founder’s Day 2026 celebrations under the theme “A Week of Humanitarian Deeds,” Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research organized “Knowledge is Power,” an educational support initiative held on 24th June 2026 at Government Primary High School (GPHS), Kogilu, Yelahanka.
During the event, educational materials and stationery items were distributed to the students. The distribution was carried out in an organized manner, ensuring that every child received the learning resources. The students expressed their happiness and gratitude, while the faculty encouraged them to make the best use of the materials to strengthen their academic journey.

Founder’s Day 2026 – A Week of Humanitarian Deeds DAY 1

As part of the Founder’s Day 2026 celebrations under the theme “A Week of Humanitarian Deeds,” Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research organized “Yoga for Wellness” on 23rd June 2026 at Government Primary High School (GPHS), Kogilu, Yelahanka.
The program commenced with a warm welcome to the school authorities, faculty members, and students. The event was conducted with the objective of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle through the practice of yoga.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the school management, faculty coordinators, student volunteers, and all participants for making the program a meaningful success.
The session reflected the institute’s commitment towards community engagement and holistic well-being as part of the Founder’s Day celebrations.

International Yoga Day 2026

Aditya Institute of Management Studies proudly celebrated International Yoga Day on 20th & 21st June 2026 at Government Primary High School (GPHS), Kogilu, Yelahanka.

The program commenced with an invocation and welcome address, followed by an engaging yoga session emphasizing the significance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and holistic development. Students enthusiastically participated in various yoga practices and gained valuable insights into the importance of maintaining a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.

The celebration successfully inspired young minds to embrace yoga as a daily practice and foster a culture of health, mindfulness, and well-being.

World Environmental Day Celebration

Event Description.


Aditya Institute of Management Studies proudly celebrated World Environment Day on 05 June 2026 at Government Primary High School (GPHS), Kogilu, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. The event was organized by the NSS and YRC forums under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”
The celebration aimed to create awareness among school children about environmental conservation and the importance of protecting natural resources. MBA students actively participated in organizing and conducting various educational and cultural activities that highlighted the significance of preserving nature for a sustainable future.


The program commenced with an Invocation Song followed by a Welcome Address. A special speech on World Environment Day was delivered to educate students about environmental challenges and the role of individuals in safeguarding the environment. A thought-provoking skit depicting the importance of trees, the Earth, and rivers was presented by the students. Faculty members also contributed by performing songs carrying messages of environmental awareness.


To encourage participation and engagement, fun-filled activities such as Musical Chairs were organized for the school children. An Environmental Pledge was administered to inspire students to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. As part of the outreach initiative, stationery items were distributed to all students. Refreshments were served, and the program concluded with a Vote of Thanks.

“United in Humanity” – Celebrating Compassion Through Creativity

Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research successfully organized a Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World Red Cross Day under the theme “United in Humanity”. The event was conducted as an initiative of IQAC & Youth Red Cross Society in association with Indian Red Cross Society. Students enthusiastically participated and showcased their creativity on themes related to humanity, compassion, unity, service, and social welfare.

The competition aimed to spread awareness about the values and principles of the Red Cross movement while encouraging students to express meaningful social messages through art. Each poster beautifully reflected the importance of kindness, empathy, and helping others in society.

The programme concluded successfully with active participation and support from students and faculty members, making the celebration meaningful, memorable, and impactful.

An Initiative of IQAC and Organized by Placement Cell

Campus Placement Drive – 2026*

The Placement Drive was successfully organized by the Placement Cell of Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research on 7th May 2026 in association with Talenty Consulting. The drive was conducted for BBA and B.Com final year students with the objective of providing career opportunities and industry exposure to aspiring graduates.

The recruitment process offered opportunities in professional roles such as Operations, Business Development, and Sales & Marketing Executive. Students actively participated in the recruitment rounds and showcased their communication skills, confidence, analytical thinking, and professional aptitude throughout the drive.

Outcome:*
4 students were shortlisted for the next round of the selection process. The placement drive served as a valuable platform for students to interact with recruiters, understand corporate expectations, and gain practical exposure to real-time recruitment procedures.
