Jeevitam Livelihood Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd

The Placement cell initiated One day Job Assessment & Job Literacy session in association with Jeevitam Livelihood Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd for MBA II and IV semester students.

Resource persons: Ms. Upalabdhi Pandey, Project Manager, Mrs. Rashmi -Senior Project manager and Mr Sanjay Key accounts manager.

Session started with assessment to identify the interested areas for jobs followed by prerequisites for the identified jobs.

The interactive session covered the below topics:

  • Building primary, secondary and tertiary livelihood
  • Differences between Part time, full time & freelance jobs.
  • JD decoding for better opportunities followed by team building activities.

The session was concluded by showcasing the report of student’s interested areas for jobs and proposed areas using assessment software tool.

The session gave an idea of choosing the best job opportunity suitable for the students in career initiation.

Sarvodaya Service Society

As part of Founder’s Day celebration, Management students visited “Sarvodaya Service Society”, located at Vijayapura, Devanahalli, an NGO that works in the domains of special children education, elderly care, and rehabilitation services.

The initiative was aimed to foster empathy, compassion, and responsible leadership by engaging in a socially impactful activity.

Students were briefed on the mission and programs of the NGO, visited classrooms, therapy centres, and old age care units. They interacted with special children, senior citizens and NGO volunteers.

Students arranged a cake on the occasion of Founder’s Day, which was cut by the senior citizens and distributed blankets to the inmates of the NGO.

The experience was emotionally enriching and professionally enlightening.

International Yoga Day Celebrations

The NSS forum of AIMS, organised “International Yoga Day Celebrations” in the Government School of Venkatala, Yelahanka, Bengaluru on 20th June 2025.
Theme: “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”
Objectives:
1) To celebrate International Yoga Day by promoting the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” among school students and the local community for holistic health and harmony through Yoga.
2) To introduce the benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and emotional well-being to the school children and to instill discipline and mindfulness through guided yoga sessions.

Highlights:
1) The session began with a short introduction on the significance of yoga in promoting a balanced lifestyle. The event embraced the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, aligning wellness with environmental responsibility.

2) The Yoga session was actively led by our faculty member Ms. Shubhra Chakravorty, who demonstrated key Yogasanas like Vrikshasana (Tree Pose), Tadasana (Mountain Pose), and Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) to promote balance, stability, and flexibility and breathing exercises like Anulom, Vilom and Udgit Pranayama were practiced to enhance mental clarity and calmness. The children were highly engaged and enthusiastic during the session, creating a lively and positive environment.

3) The students expressed their joy and gratitude, while several shared their eagerness to continue practicing yoga regularly. The event not only spread awareness about wellness but also fostered strong community engagement and mutual respect.

The International Yoga Day celebration successfully introduced the students of Venkatala Government School to the importance of Yoga in promoting physical health, mental clarity and emotional balance. The collective participation promoted a sense of community, discipline, and mindfulness among attendees, fostering a commitment to wellness practices. Through simple and guided demonstrations, participants were able to grasp the essence of Yoga and understand how it can be a valuable part of their daily routine.

Environment Day Celebrations

“Environment Day Celebrations” are organized by the IQAC, IIC and NSS Forum of AIMS on 5th June 2025.

Venue: Government School, Venkatala, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

Highlights:

  1. The NSS Forum of Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research conducted an impactful Environmental Day Celebration titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” on 05th June 2025 at Venkatala Government School, Yelahanka. The event was organized as part of World Environment Day, in collaboration with Asmithe Global Foundation, to foster a sense of environmental responsibility in young minds.
  2. NSS volunteers and faculty members of AIMS enthusiastically participated in tree plantation drive within the school premises. Each sapling planted symbolized love, care, and respect for the mother Earth. Alongside planting, the faculty members interacted with school children, creating awareness about eco-friendly practices and the importance of conserving nature.
  3. Interactive activities like inspiring short story, skit and short videos with school students created an enthusiastic and educational environment. The faculty engaged with students through informal conversations and value-based encouragement, aiming to boost their confidence, motivation, and awareness of environmental care.

The event successfully created awareness among school children about environmental sustainability and the importance of tree plantation. Through interaction and donation the volunteers built a bond with the students, encouraging education and sharing. This small act of giving brought joy to the children and helped cultivate values of empathy and social responsibility among the NSS team. The celebration successfully met its dual goals of promoting environmental sustainability and building community connections.

Yukti Innovation Challenge 2025

An Intra-collegiate “Yukti Innovation Challenge 2025” was organised by IQAC, Institution’s Innovation Council and IT Forum of AIMS on 6th June, 2025.

Objective
The Yukti Innovation Challenge 2025 aimed to provide students with a dynamic platform to showcase their technical creativity and project development skills. The initiative also sought to encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaborative learning through real-time evaluations and professional mentorship.

Resource Person : Mr. Diptarko Sharma, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in IT, IoT, Telecom OSS/BSS, and data analytics, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of each student project.

His expertise spans, roles such as Head of Global Delivery and Operations at Frugal Labs, Program Manager at Tech Mahindra, and Delivery Manager at OnMobile Global. With a strong foundation in Python technologies, data analysis, project management, and product development, he brought rich insights and real-world guidance to the table.
Mr. Sharma is also a freelance technology trainer and a Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional.

The Yukti Innovation Challenge 2025 was a rewarding and intellectually engaging event. Mr. Diptarko Sharma’s presence and expertise added immense value to the students’ learning journey. His detailed evaluations and thoughtful guidance not only improved current project scopes but also inspired students to pursue greater innovation. The event reinforced the institution’s commitment to excellence in technical education and student empowerment.

FAREWELL DAY

Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research organised FAREWELL DAY for the batch 2022-2025 on Tuesday, 20th May 2025 at the campus Auditorium. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, honourable Sri. Sivasailam, IAS, Retd.

Addressing the graduating student’s, the Chief Guest Sri Sivasailam advised to identify their passion and work systematically towards their passion.

Key Points of Address

  1. Highlighted the importance of being a multi-linguistic, including foreign languages. Elaborated on the available career options for the multilinguists in the current era.
  2. Importance of Computer Skills in this digital era.
  3. Entrepreneurship opportunities.
  4. Benefits of Fostering lifelong friendships with their classmates & networking.
  5. Alumni advantages to oneself & to the institution.
  6. Advantages of Life-long connectivity with their Teachers as mentors.

He has emphasised on the opportunities for a bright future in the current digital era and advised the graduating students to be prepared for the challenges of the real world.

Dr. B.A Vishwanath, Chairman & Dr. Priya Vishwanath, Chairperson, Aditya Group of Institutions, congratulated the graduating students and having acquired quality education, wished the students to passionately follow their dreams and fulfill their career aspirations.

Celebration of National Technology Day organized by IQAC, Institution’s Innovation Council & IT Forum of AIMS on 10th May 2025.

Objective:
1) To commemorate National Technology Day by showcasing student-driven technological innovations.
2) To provide students a platform to demonstrate practical applications of their technical learning and to encourage the development of real-world IT solutions using AI & ML.
3) To inspire students to explore emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation.

Highlights:

1) As part of National Technology Day Celebrations, the department has organised a student seminar on technical innovations. BCA students have demonstrated their technical innovations.

2) Some of the key projects included Student Attendance Management System, Library Management System, Online Timetable Management System, Student Academic & Administrative Management Systems, Andriod Application Project, Travel Management System and Virtual assistants (SWARA) inspired by Alexa’s functionality, created to provide voice-based query handling and user assistance.

3) Each presentation reflected the students’ deep understanding of coding, database connectivity, user interface design, and artificial intelligence integration. The websites were not only functional but also creatively designed, reflecting a strong command over front-end and back-end development. The diversity in approach and execution highlighted their ability to translate academic concepts into functional digital solutions. Faculty members observed the presentations and provided valuable feedback to bring their innovations into real time applications.

The National Technology Day celebration was a vibrant showcase of innovation, technical expertise, and student creativity. With enthusiastic participation from BCA, the event exemplified the value of experiential learning and highlighted the importance of practical exposure in shaping future-ready professionals.

SANTHWANA HOSPICE

A visit to SANTHWANA HOSPICE- NGO for Cancer Patients was organised by the NSS Forum on 26th April 2025, to B.com, BBA & BBA Aviation first year students.

Santhwana Hospice, is a palliative care facility dedicated to supporting terminally ill cancer patients. It provides compassionate care to those in the final stages of cancer.

The purpose of the vist was to foster empathy, social responsibility and community involvement among students.

Students were welcomed and given an overview of the Swanthana Hospice’s mission and services.

Students interacted with patients and offered companionship through listening their stories and hardships.

As part of the initiative, students donated essential items like nutritional supplements.

The visit has not only brought smiles to the faces of patients, but also left a lasting impression on the values of humanity amongst the students.
