Key Highlights:
Workshop on “Data Visualization and Business Reporting Using Tableau” was organized by the IQAC and Institution’s Innovation Council of AIMS for MBA students.
Resource Person: Mr. Akash G, Senior Business Analyst
Key Points of the session:
1) Students delved into Tableau’s features for creating impactful visualizations and effective business reports. The session emphasized practical applications, fostering an understanding of data-driven decision-making.
2) The workshop highlighted Tableau’s ability to connect to multiple data sources, allowing for seamless data integration.
3) Students gained insights into how visualization can be customized to suit specific business needs.
The Session was graced by Chief Patrons, Dr. B.A. Vishwanath, Chairman, AGI, Dr. Priya Vishwanath, Vice-chairperson, AGI, Prof. Pushpa Shetty, Director, AIMS.
Concluding Remarks:
Assistant Professor Ms. Shubhra Chakravarthy, delivered the closing remarks for the event.
Students successfully created their own visualizations and dashboards using Tableau during the hands-on sessions, demonstrating a clear understanding of the concepts taught. Students expressed confidence in their ability to produce more compelling and informative business reports using the skills acquired.
