“Environment Day Celebrations” are organized by the IQAC, IIC and NSS Forum of AIMS on 5th June 2025.
Venue: Government School, Venkatala, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Highlights:
- The NSS Forum of Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research conducted an impactful Environmental Day Celebration titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” on 05th June 2025 at Venkatala Government School, Yelahanka. The event was organized as part of World Environment Day, in collaboration with Asmithe Global Foundation, to foster a sense of environmental responsibility in young minds.
- NSS volunteers and faculty members of AIMS enthusiastically participated in tree plantation drive within the school premises. Each sapling planted symbolized love, care, and respect for the mother Earth. Alongside planting, the faculty members interacted with school children, creating awareness about eco-friendly practices and the importance of conserving nature.
- Interactive activities like inspiring short story, skit and short videos with school students created an enthusiastic and educational environment. The faculty engaged with students through informal conversations and value-based encouragement, aiming to boost their confidence, motivation, and awareness of environmental care.
The event successfully created awareness among school children about environmental sustainability and the importance of tree plantation. Through interaction and donation the volunteers built a bond with the students, encouraging education and sharing. This small act of giving brought joy to the children and helped cultivate values of empathy and social responsibility among the NSS team. The celebration successfully met its dual goals of promoting environmental sustainability and building community connections.
