Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan – Tiranga Yatra


HIGHLIGHTS
Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research (AIMS&R) participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan – Tiranga Yatra held on 10 August 2026. A group of students from the institution, accompanied by faculty members, participated enthusiastically in the patriotic programme. The Tiranga Yatra commenced at 8:00 AM from the Government School, 8th Cross, opposite K.C. General Hospital, Malleswaram. The participation provided students with an opportunity to be part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan and celebrate the spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride.

The students actively participated in the Tiranga Yatra, carrying the National Flag and joining the procession with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The Yatra concluded at the 18th Cross Playground, Malleswaram. Accompanied by faculty members, the students demonstrated discipline, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of collective participation. The programme created a vibrant patriotic atmosphere and encouraged the younger generation to understand and uphold the significance of the National Flag.

Outcome

The participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan – Tiranga Yatra strengthened students’ sense of patriotism, unity, civic responsibility, and respect for the National Flag. The experience encouraged them to actively participate in community and national initiatives while fostering a deeper appreciation for the values of national unity and responsible citizenship.

Strengthening Industry–Academia Connect through Alumni Engagement & Internship Opportunities

Highlights

Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research (AIMS) conducted an industry–academia interaction with Ms. Likhitha D, Alumna of AIMS and Human Resources & Admin, Nicomatic India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. The interaction focused on industry expectations, workplace requirements, and the importance of bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practices. Ms. Likhitha shared valuable insights from her industry experience and highlighted the skills and competencies required for students to successfully transition into the corporate environment.

The interaction also explored opportunities for providing industry exposure to final-year Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students through internships at Nicomatic India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. The proposed internships will provide students with practical exposure to organizational processes, workplace practices, and real-world applications of their academic knowledge. The initiative also strengthens alumni engagement and creates a meaningful connection between alumni, industry, and current students.

Outcome

The interaction resulted in a positive industry–academia and alumni engagement, with Nicomatic India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. expressing its willingness to provide internship opportunities to final-year UG and PG students. The initiative is expected to enhance students’ practical knowledge, employability skills, industry readiness, and career prospects while strengthening the institution’s industry and alumni network.

AIMS Participates in Webinar on Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMS), Bengaluru, actively participated in the webinar on “Innovation & Entrepreneurship” (Episode 2) under the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat initiative on 07 August 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM through the Webex platform.
The session aimed to inspire students to adopt an innovative mindset, nurture entrepreneurial thinking, and contribute towards building a progressive, self-reliant, and developed India. Faculty members accompanied students to the Seminar Hall, where the webinar was attended collectively, ensuring active participation and engagement.

The webinar emphasized the significance of innovation as a catalyst for social and economic development. The speakers highlighted the role of entrepreneurship in generating employment, solving real-world challenges, and empowering youth to become job creators rather than job seekers. Students were encouraged to develop creative problem-solving skills, identify entrepreneurial opportunities, and actively participate in initiatives that support the vision of Viksit Bharat while promoting a healthy and drug-free society under the Nasha Mukt Yuva campaign.

The webinar enhanced students’ understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship as essential drivers of national development. Business Beyond Borders: Inspiring Future Global Marketers

HIGHLIGHTS
AIMS successfully organized a Guest Talk on “Business Marketing in International Commerce” under the initiative of IQAC, Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), and the Marketing & Entrepreneurship Forum. The insightful session was delivered by Mr. Lokesh S., Entrepreneur and Business Professional, Renuka Exports, who shared practical knowledge on international marketing, export opportunities, global trade practices, branding, and entrepreneurship. Students actively engaged in discussions and gained valuable exposure to the dynamic world of international business.

OUTCOMES
The session broadened students’ understanding of global marketing strategies, export management, and international commerce. It encouraged participants to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, explore global career opportunities, and enhance their knowledge of international business practices, preparing them for success in today’s competitive global marketplace.


Preplacement Orientation & Internship Initiative

HIGHLIGHTS
A Preplacement Orientation Program and Internship Project Initiative was conducted by WingSlide for the MBA students of Aditya Institute of Management Studies (AIMS), Bangalore. The session commenced with an introduction to WingSlide and its mission of connecting aspiring professionals with industry opportunities through skill development, internship projects, and placement support. The resource persons, Nakshatra and Sandish, shared their expertise and guided students through the various opportunities available. MBA students were informed about the internship projects offered by WingSlide, designed to provide hands-on corporate experience and enhance their managerial and analytical skills. They were also briefed on preplacement training programs, including resume writing, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR rounds. The trainers emphasized the significance of communication skills, body language, and professional behavior during recruitment processes, while also discussing current industry trends, in-demand skills, and the expectations of recruiters from management students.
The role of aptitude preparation, logical reasoning, and technical proficiency in clearing placement rounds was explained in detail. Students were encouraged to take up internship projects to strengthen their resumes, gain practical insights, and improve their employability across various domains. The importance of choosing the right career path aligned with individual strengths and market demands was highlighted. The program emphasized continuous learning, teamwork, adaptability, and self-confidence as key attributes for professional success. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A round where students clarified their doubts regarding internships, placements, and career planning.

Project Training Program on MERN Stack Development

HIGHLIGHTS
Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMS) organised a Project Training Program on MERN Stack Development as an initiative of the IQAC, IIC, and IT Forum, in association with Anudip Foundation. The program provided students with valuable exposure to modern full-stack web development and introduced them to MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js—the four core technologies of the MERN Stack.
The session highlighted the importance of practical, project-based learning and provided insights into frontend and backend integration, software development processes, real-time project development, coding practices, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students also gained awareness of industry-oriented training, certification and placement opportunities, as well as career prospects in MERN Stack Development, Full-Stack Development, and Web Development.

Outcome

The program enhanced students’ understanding of full-stack web development and encouraged them to apply their knowledge through practical projects. It strengthened their awareness of industry expectations, improved their confidence in pursuing technical careers, and motivated them to develop industry-relevant skills for internships and future placement opportunities.

IBM SkillsBuild Domain Training Program: Empowering Students for the Future of AI


HIGHLIGHTS
Aditya Institute of Management Studies successfully conducted the IBM SkillsBuild Domain Training Program, focusing on the transformative world of Artificial Intelligence, Traditional AI, and Generative AI.The session introduced students to the IBM SkillsBuild learning platform and its career-focused opportunities. Students gained insights into the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, the differences between Traditional AI and Generative AI, and the practical applications of AI across healthcare, education, banking, business, agriculture, cybersecurity, and automation. The session also highlighted the importance of responsible AI usage, emerging career opportunities, and the value of industry-recognized certifications, digital badges, and continuous learning through IBM SkillsBuild.
Outcome:
The program enhanced students’ understanding of emerging AI technologies and their real-world applications. It motivated students to develop industry-relevant skills, pursue IBM SkillsBuild certifications, and prepare themselves for future career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technology domains.

Entrepreneurship Forum in Association with IQAC & Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)

HIGHLIGHTS
The Business Plan Presentation was organised as an initiative of the Entrepreneurship Forum in association with IQAC and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The programme provided MBA students with an opportunity to explore and analyse successful business models and entrepreneurial ventures. During the session, students presented business ideas and models inspired by successful companies such as Rapido, Titan, Reliance, Farm Fresh and Airbnb . The presentations focused on understanding the business opportunities identified by these companies, their value propositions, target customers, revenue models and strategies that contributed to their growth and success.
The programme also encouraged students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by learning from existing successful business models and identifying possibilities for adaptation and innovation. Students gained confidence in analysing business ideas, presenting their views and evaluating the factors contributing to business success. Overall, the activity promoted creativity, critical thinking, business awareness and the ability to transform inspiration from existing enterprises into innovative entrepreneurial opportunities.
OUTCOME
The Business Plan Presentation enhanced the students’ understanding of successful business models, opportunity identification, innovation, customer value creation and growth strategies. By analysing businesses such as Rapido, Titan, Reliance, Farm Fresh and Airbnb, students gained practical insights into how existing business ideas can inspire new entrepreneurial opportunities. HIGHLIGHTS

As a part of UG Orientation programme for the academic year 2026-27, Games and sports were arranged to enhance team building ability and to boost their brain power. Fun Games like building tower using balloon and paper cups, guess the picture and Wrong answer only were conducted. Sports like volleyball and throwball were conducted to enhance their physical fitness and to create awareness about sports activities for a healthy lifestyle. Students participated in the all activities with enthusiasm and enjoyed the activities with all positive response.

OUTCOME

The games and sports organized during the UG Orientation Programme successfully fostered a positive and energetic start to the academic year 2026–27. The activities encouraged teamwork, communication, and healthy competition among the students. Strategic games enhanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while sports promoted physical fitness and overall well-being. The programme also helped participants build confidence and develop meaningful peer connections.
