Seminar on Skills for Tommorow was organised by IQAC & Institution’s Innovation Council in association with International Skill Development Corporation on 26th March 2025 for UG final year students.
Resource person Mr.Anupam Dubey, ISDC. Highlights: The resource person has emphasized the significance of acquiring masters degree from abroad. The students are offered top tier educational programs along with boosting career opportunities with global exposure and adapting to the new ventures through internships.
Co-operative Milk Producers Union Ltd., (KOMUL) is Karnataka’s Milk Producing District organisation. It is a District level apex body of milk cooperatives in Karnataka, which aims to provide remunerative returns to the farmers by eliminating the middlemen and also serve the interest of consumers by providing quality Milk & milk products, which are good value for money.
The trip was organized for the degree students of Bcom, BBA and BBA Aviation of 4th Semester (2nd year) to explore different sectors in which students are passionate about it. Manufacturing services, marketing sector, financial sector, sales division, the visit helps the students to add theoretical knowledge with practical exposure.
The session began with the introduction about the KOMUL company followed by the visit to different processing units.

Workshop on “Startup Planning: Legal, Ethical and Financial Strategies for Entrepreneurs”, in Association with “MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Government of India”, organized by IQAC, Institution’s Innovation Council & Entrepreneurship Cell of AIMS on 17th March 2025 for final year UG & MBA students.
Guest Speaker:Mr. Gopinath Rao, Ex. Deputy Director, MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Government of India.
Highlights: 1) The resource person emphasised the role of Central and State governments in Startup Ecosystem through various statistics. 2) He has provided valuable insights on various fund-raising strategies for Startups such as Bootstrapping, Government grants, Angel investors, Venture capital, Crowd funding etc. 3) Discussed on various Central Government funding schemes like, Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS), Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), Stand-Up India Scheme, MUDRA, SIDBI Venture Capital Funds & Support and and Karnataka State Government schemes like, Elevate 100 Program (Funding & Mentorship for startups), Idea2PoC (Proof of Concept) Grant, New Age Incubation Network (NAIN), AVGC (Animation, VFX, Gaming) Startup Support and GoK’s Innovation and Technology Incubation Centers. 4) Also shed light on legal and ethical aspects of startups such as the process for startup registration, compliance and regulatory framework, contracts & agreements, governance, ethical considerations with respect to decision making and social responsibility to build the trust of stakeholders. 5) The Q & A session clarified the queries of the students in legal and financial aspects.
The workshop laid foundation on legal and ethical aspects to be considered for establishment of a startup and various fund raising strategies, especially Central and Karnataka State Government financial assistance for Startups. It has also provided valuable inputs on mentorship and incubation support from the government.
Study Visit The Training & Placement Cell organised a study visit for BCA students to InCanto Dynamics, a Robotic Lab on 20th February 2025, with an objective of providing an experience of Robotics, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence.
The Expert Technical Trainers at the Lab made a powerful presentation touching upon various segments.
Information on Technical Knowledge
Explained through presentation, the fundamentals of robotics, including mechanics, electronics, and programming. Exposure to robotic components like sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and AI integration. Importance of learning about robotic operating systems (ROS) and programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
2 Problem-Solving and Innovation Explained how exposure to real-world robotics applications in industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and space exploration will enhance operations.
Students were advised to design and conceptualize their own robotic solutions and to work on small projects.
Teamwork and Collaboration Suggested to work in groups to build or control robots.
Highlighted how different disciplines (mechanical, electrical, and software engineering) are integrated together in robotics.
Career & Research Awareness
Students got an insight about career opportunities in robotics, AI, and automation including Research prospects in robotics and its future impact.
Provided insights into entrepreneurship and startup opportunities in robotics.
Overall, it was a great learning experience for the students and faculty with a lot of real-time insights and exposure to state of the art technology.
The Campus Placement Pool Drive 2025 was conducted at Aditya Institute of Management Studies on 28.02.2025 with the objective of facilitating employment opportunities for students passing out of UG & PG of batch 2024.
The drive was organized by the Placement Cell of AIMS in collaboration with KOUSHALYA HUB, SYSTEMS DOMAIN, HOPE FOUNDATION to establish strong industry connectivity.
